5. Lumber drop

6. Framing floor int. and ext walls

If you can get your deck or concrete contractor out before siding goes up, they can indicate where flashing or cedar needs to go.
If you see engineering packets nailed to a wall, do not remove until the framing inspection has been completed.

9. Plumbing

10. HVAC
This home owner chose our energy efficient Tran system as an upgrade. Towards the end of construction, the pump is set. During construction the air handler is install for maintaining heat in the home.
11. Windows
Milgard windows are professional installed by Milgard.
The home now has roof and windows in place. Just over one month into the construction.
You must leave the window stickers in place until the home has been inspected. The inspectors reference the U-Value.
12. Siders
Next is the lap siding. This customer went with Hardie 50 year warranty. This upgrades adds true value to the home.
Our installers take every precaution to prevent your home from leaking. Caulking also meets warranty related items associated with the siding package.
Our Siding company goes to great lengths to make sure windows do not leak. Most on your lot builders get cheap in this area.
This on your lot home got the upgraded simulated shake. If other companies are having framers side the homes, you might have improperly installed siding.
13. Electrical
As an on your lot builder our electrical contractors use only the highest quality products.
As an on your lot builder, we strive to give you the bells and whistles you want in a new home.
In house stereo wiring is but one electrical option that we offer.
Installing speaker wire and mounts at framing will save time, money and frustration.
Next comes the electrical work rough in.
Our Electrical team can install an alarm system much more economically during framing.
Our Electricians can install the latest in HD wiring.
We offer can lights standard in the kitchen and as an upgrade in other parts of the home.
14. Utility Hook Ups
As part of the ‘Owner Items”, you will organize having your sewer and water hooked up to the home.
15. Caulk and Seal
Caulk and seal prevents drafts that can occur when pressure outside the house is greater than inside the house.
Having an air tight home can save money in heating and cooling expenses.
This is the caulk and seal stage. Caulk is white and seal is orange. These are both required by cities and counties.
16. Painting
When the siding is up, you the home owner should arrange for the painting. If you elect to go through us, we'll take care of it in our schedule.
Having a colored gutter can dress up the exterior of the home nicely.
Now that the painting is done and the gutters are on the sheet rock comes next.
Sometime after either you or if you get True built Home to paint, we recommend you place your home address to the house.
This home owner used scraped osb in front of the home to keep dirt traffic down. You may want to do the same.

17. Garage Floor
After the floor hardens our concrete contractor will spray a seal coat on top to protect the finish.
Next we come to the garage floor. True Built Home provides on average 8 yards of concrete per garage floor at a depth of 4 inches.
Our concrete contractor will mark 4 inches from grade for the slab.
To ensure not to use more concrete than allowed, make sure your back fill in the garage is done properly.
18. Insulation
As an on your site builder, our insulation packages include R21 walls, R30 Floors, R38 ceilings.
Interior wall insulating is not included in our base plans. Some clients elect to have powder rooms, media rooms and master bedrooms insulated.
The greater the R-value the greater the insulation.

19. Garage Door
All garage doors come white but they are paintable.

21. Item Sheet Rock
After the rock is hung, the tape and mud are applied.
The heat must be on at 70 degrees with windows slightly open.
Having the heat on ensures that proper drying process occures.

the heat to 70 degrees allows the home to dry out which is very important.
Our sheet rock contractors screw the sheet rock in place. Some nail it, but that type of cheaper work can allow cracks to occur.
Sheet rockers take about 10-12 days to accomplish.
Drying the house out is imperative. This is the slower part of construction.
Things really start cooking once the sheet rock is finished. It's exciting times.
