What's Included

Energy Efficient Triple Pane Windows

Energy-Efficient Windows

Our homes are built with high-performance, energy-efficient triple-paned Low-E (0.25 U-value) windows to save you money on your heating and cooling bills. The lower the U-value, the greater a window’s resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating properties. Windows featuring a Low-E coating allow the sunlight and heat to pass through the insulating glass, but at the same time, reflect radiant heat. Because a Low-E coating reflects radiant heat waves, it helps keep your home warmer in the winter by trapping radiant heat and cooler in the summer by blocking it from your home.

Quartz Countertops

High-Quality Quartz Countertops

Our homes include high-quality 3 cm Quartz countertops with matching 4” backsplash in the kitchen and bathrooms. Three centimeters is the preferred thickness for countertops, as it offers the most strength, durability, and can be directly installed on top of the cabinets without the need for additional plywood support. Other builders may use thinner 2 cm countertops that will require additional supports for any overhangs and edges to maintain the same durability of the same size cut of a 3-centimeter stone. We offer a variety of choices, as well as upgrades.

Lifetime Warranty Shingles

Top-Rated Roof Shingles

Our architectural roof shingles feature a limited lifetime warranty. Our shingles will not only protect your most valuable asset but also beautify your home for years to come. Featuring stunning color blends and an enhanced shadow effect for a genuine wood-shake look, these shingles minimize the use of natural resources while providing superior protection for your home. They have built-in algae resistance to cut down on unattractive stains and discolorations. We also install our shingles with a ridge vent, which increases energy efficiency and will prolong the life of your roof.

Hardie Cemplank Lap Siding

Long-Lasting Lap Siding

Whole-house Cemplank® lap siding is an attractive and more durable alternative to vinyl and wood-based siding. The cedar grain texture of Cemplank lap siding provides a wood appearance with proven fiber cement performance. Cemplank lap siding comes with a 25 year limited product warranty including non-prorated coverage for the first 10 years. Cemplank is resistant to termite damage, durable, non-combustible, and moisture-resistant, plus it comes with a 25-Year Limited Warranty. Cemplank lap siding is primed and ready for you to paint in the color of your choice to enhance the beauty of your home

Raised-Heel Trusses

Raised-heel trusses, also known as energy-heel trusses, deliver cost-effective energy performance. Raising the truss higher has two big advantages: it greatly simplifies attic ventilation, and it leaves ample room for insulation above exterior wall top plates. Framing with raised-heel trusses improves structural and energy performance and offers many beneficial savings.

Quality Wood Framing

We use higher-quality Douglas Fir and mixed-species wood framing instead of the cheaper pine lumber that many homebuilders use in their homes. Douglas Fir is known for its structural strength - it has tight, close grain lines, whereas Pine has broad grain lines that wander, making it far weaker than fir. The soft wood between the grain lines shrinks and expands, making the wood cup or twist. For stability and strength, fir is much less prone to warping or twisting, and much stronger than pine.

Better Insulation

We use R-49 insulation in the ceilings to maximize your energy savings. This results in better ventilation within your attic space. For the crawl space and floor, we use R-38 and R-21 for the walls. Utilizing advanced framing and insulation techniques, we insulate headers at exterior doors and windows and then caulk and Poly Seal around doors, windows, and exterior wall penetrations which increases your home's energy efficiency, and saves you money.

Rheem Energy Efficient Water Heater

High-Efficiency Heating

Heat Pump Water Heaters are much more efficient than conventional water heaters delivering the same heat for a small percentage of the cost. Water heating can take up 1/4th of your energy usage.

In Washington, we use an upgraded NEEA Tier 1 & 3 Hybrid Water Heater - one of the most efficient Hybrid water heaters available. You may be able to take advantage of a federal tax credit and local utility rebates. Plus, it's up to 4x as efficient as a standard electric water heater for energy savings of up to $480 per year. Homes over 1,500 sq. ft. also get an upgraded High-Efficiency Furnace and Heat Pump Package with 11 HSPF along with AeroBarrier to seal the home.

In Oregon, AeroBarrier is added to seal all homes in order to meet the updated Oregon building codes. Homes over 1,500 sq. ft. receive multiple ductless mini-split systems (the number of mini-split units varies due to home layout and size).

MOEN Faucets

We feature high-quality, Low Flow Moen Faucets and Showerheads with True Ceramic Inserts, which meet EPA WaterSense® criteria to conserve water without sacrificing performance.

Our kitchens feature a deep 8″ stainless steel Moen sink with an elegant and sturdy Moen pull-out faucet in different finishes. These faucets offer an aerated stream for everyday cleaning and a powerful rinse for heavy-duty cleaning. Moen faucets also feature an excellent warranty.

Soft Close Cabinets

Soft-close Cabinets

We install Aristokraft birch or oak cabinets as our standard, in a variety of colors. This includes 36″ Base cabinets with European Sunken Hinges and 30″ Upper cabinets (other upgrades available). Our Kitchen cabinets also include Soft-Close doors and drawers.
